July 5 Worship

In today's message, we're reminded of a profound truth that we often forget in our daily struggles: we are already forgiven, already reconciled, and already blessed beyond measure. Drawing from Colossians 1:21-23, we explore how Christ's finished work on the cross has transformed us from enemies of God into holy, blameless people free from accusation. The challenge isn't whether God loves us—we're loved unconditionally—but whether we'll allow Satan's lies about our unworthiness to keep us trapped in spiritual paralysis. We're called to examine what's holding us back from fully embracing our gospel purpose: Is it family dynamics, friendships, financial concerns, or perhaps our own desire to be in control? The Beatitudes from Matthew 5 remind us that we are blessed people, called to rejoice regardless of our circumstances. This week, we're challenged to intentionally—not coincidentally—reach out to someone with the good news of the gospel. The question isn't if opportunities exist, but whether we'll get out of our own way and let the Holy Spirit use us as vessels of transformation. We're living in a mystery we can't fully explain, yet we experience daily: the power of the Trinity working through us to bring others into the kingdom.
