September 14 Worship

Through the story of Jesus raising Lazarus from the dead, we're invited to confront our own experiences with delay, disruption, and even death in our lives. The story reminds us that being followers of Christ doesn't shield us from pain or suffering, but it does promise us the hope of resurrection. We're challenged to consider: Can illness or setbacks serve as vessels for God's grace? The message emphasizes that Jesus' apparent delays don't indicate a lack of care, but might be part of a greater plan. It encourages us to face difficult truths head-on, as acknowledging what is 'dead' in our lives can be the first step towards resurrection. This narrative invites us to examine where we need resurrection in our own lives - in our relationships, dreams, or spiritual journey - and to have the courage to 'remove the stone' blocking our blessings.
