Have you ever just wanted a time to sit down and share honestly about the joys and sorrows of your life with a group of women that are also seeking God’s will for their lives?  I found that available at the Saturday morning Women’s Fellowship at Bethel. 

The Bethel Women’s Fellowship began this year with a few ladies on a Saturday morning, who met in the church office.  We decided to meet the 2^nd and 4^th Saturdays of each month at 9:00 am.  With that schedule, anyone can join us for every meeting or just when they are available.  We begin with coffee while each person jots their prayer concerns in our Prayer Journal.  Then we open with prayer for the members and their joys or concerns, always praying for the “empty chair” that represents someone whom God has in mind to join us.

We set a few criteria for our group to give it a purpose that was more than just a coffee hour.  We wanted our group to have a spiritual connection, so we started by choosing a Christian study book.  We wanted our group to be a place to support one another, so we allow time for fellowship.  We wanted to incorporate service to our church, so we often use the meeting time for a work project or to visit someone who is ill or just organize an area of service.  In our small way, we support one another and the whole church body with the love of Christ.  If this sounds like a purpose that is close to your heart, please stop by and join us on a Saturday morning.  Just bring along an open mind and heart.
