The next Area Wide ministry meeting
We will meet again to discuss the future of our congregations from  7:00 – 8:30 PM Thursday, October 16th at Faith Lutheran, 7500 DeSoto in Canoga Park. We are discussing the formation of a “parish” much like “New City Parish”PALP (Pasadena Area Lutheran Parish,) or the new “parish” formed in the Antelope Valley.

Women of ELCA 2008 Biennial Convention
October 17 – 19, 2008 “Come to the Living Waters“ Join with women of all ages from across the Southwest California Synod for a weekend of soul-filling workshops, Bible studies, music, prayer and worship.

Annual Holiday Boutique/Bake Sale
Calvary is busy making plans for their Annual Boutique/Bake sale. If you would interested in being a vendor, call Charlotte
Olson at 818-399-4148. The boutique is scheduled for Saturday, November 15th at Calvary Lutheran Church , 8800 Woodman Ave., Arleta. We have also made plans to receive matching funds from Thrivent.
